I’ve always thought that creativity and compassion go hand in hand. I was delighted to discover that Jessica Klier from Draw Dawgs combines her artistic talent with helping homeless pets.
From Jessica: “I started Draw Dawgs in 2017 in hopes that I could create special keepsakes for dog lovers while giving back to animal shelters and rescue groups.
My two rescue dogs are from Los Angeles and they have been my sole inspiration behind Draw Dawgs. Each patron gets to choose an organization near and dear to them that will benefit from 25% of the commission cost. Spokane Humane Society, Life Savers Animal Rescue, West LA Animal Shelter, and The Lange Foundation are just a few groups who have been supported by these donations.”
In addition to the dogs, Jessica adds in some wonderful details! I adore the succulents, but it was such fun to find some favorite characters in one of the portraits.
In case you are wondering, Jessica also draws cats.
A pet portrait is a lovely gift for any animal lover! Gift certificates are available. For more information, be sure to DM Draw Dawgs on Instagram or check her website, Draw Dawgs.
