I am a BlogPaws® Conference Sponsored Blogger on behalf of Natural Balance®. I am being compensated for helping share information about Natural Balance®’s new L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® High Protein Formulas offering as well as their Buy With Confidence™ promise with my readers and fellow Influencers. Neither Natural Balance or BlogPaws are responsible for the content of this article. All dog portraits are by Alice G Patterson Photography.
I am thrilled that Natural Balance® is sponsoring my trip to the BlogPaws® conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina!. My dogs love Natural Balance food as well as their treats. I’ll be spending some time at the Natural Balance booth during the conference. If you have any questions about our experience with Natural Balance, I’ll be happy to talk to you about it at #BlogPaws!
While the lower protein Limited Ingredient Diets are perfect for my dogs, an active dog, like Gertrude, may benefit from more protein.
Natural Balance now offers a limited ingredient diet which is also high in protein for dogs. It is currently available in three different flavors: beef, turkey, and lamb. Each of these formulas contains 32% protein which is the highest percentage of protein among leading LID brands.
The Limited Ingredient Diets® High Protein Turkey Formula Dry Dog Food is made up of 60% turkey, 38% plant based ingredients to provide fiber, and 2 % essential vitamins, minerals and other wholesome ingredients. It does not contain any potatoes, whole grains, chicken or fillers.
The High Protein Limited Ingredient Diet offers just one source of protein and is grain free! It is perfect for active dogs who may have food sensitivities.
Natural Balance knows that for most of us, pets are family. They only use good quality ingredients and safety is paramount to them.
As with all the other dog food that Natural Balance makes, this high protein food goes through 9 safety tests. To give you further peace of mind, Natural Balance allows you to view the safety test results of every purchase. Simply, visit their website and type in the kind of food, size and best by date, to get the results.
If you are wondering if a high protein dog food is right for your dog, you can chat with pet nutrition experts here.
Finally, I like the Buy With Confidence promise that Natural Balance gives with every purchase. If you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, just bring the unused portion and receipt to the place of purchase. You will receive a full refund.

Love the look of this blog, and the pictures perfectly illustrate the topic. I’m also a fan of Natural Balance and have used the product as treats for Magic in the past. Glad to learn they have a limited ingredient formulation, too.

That’s a great protein content, and overall very sound ingredients. After working at a pet pantry, I am inclined to believe that many dogs’ food “allergies” are really just reactions to poorly made food with “hidden” ingredients or lots of vague filler, and they are in need of a high quality food like yours. And beautiful photos, by the way!

I really like the quality of Natural Balance food, and feed it to my cats as often as possible. They love the L.I.D. dry food. It was great saying a quick hello to you in the elevator (if you remember!)

I do remember meeting you! The whole weekend is sort of a blur but in a good way!

I love how many dog food companies (the better ones at least) are now offering limited ingredient and high protein diets. Our dogs have been on similar quality food for a while now and the change is noticeable. Especially with highly active hiking dogs like ours. Thanks for sharing!

Sorry I didn’t get a chance to meet you at BlogPaws! My dogs love their dental chews. It’s great to know about their high protein diet in case I ever need to change their food.

Limited ingredient diets are great for dogs with allergies. Mr. N has a chicken allergy and chicken is in a ton of things!
