Over the years I’ve seen a lot of great Save The Date signs, and this one is a new favorite! Tammy Blalock from Ata-Girl Photography took the engagement photos of Bethany, Will, and Tillie, the French Bulldog. I love Tillie’s smile and the sentiment that the dog needs to approve of a future spouse.
From Bethany: “Tillie was born September 27, 2013, and became a member of the family in December 2013 (just a few months before I met Will) Tillie quickly became nicknamed ‘the pig’ for obvious trait look-alike reasons!
Tillie never meets a stranger and is so sweet! She has a funny personality and definitely shows it when she is excited! When she gets very excited, she takes off running laps and laps around the house. We call it her ‘Frenchie 500.’ It is hilarious to watch!
A few of Tillie’s favorite things are playing with her two buddies, Minnie and Mona (our two close friends Scott and Victoria’s fur babies), bacon rubs (belly rubs), beef treats, making a nest on freshly clean and straight from the dryer clothes, playing in Grammy and Papa’s backyard and eating pecans from their pecan trees!
Tillie has never met a lap that she did not like, she is truly the definition of a lap dog. You cannot sit down without her running to sit right down on your lap! She is also very talented, I’ve never met a dog that can toot so loudly. The first time Will heard it he did not believe that it was Tillie! We may be biased, but we genuinely think Tillie is the sweetest little snuggly pig there is!”

Thanks for the feature!! I absolutely can’t wait for Bethany, Will and Tillie’s wedding this September! Though many of my couples are dog owners and dog lovers, this will be the first wedding I get to photograph that their beloved fur baby gets to participate! I’m so excited to see all of their wedding planning come to fruition!!

I love that the sign says “we” said yes! It shows how much a part of the family Tillie is.
I love that smiling doggy face, it’s just priceless! These pictures are lovely and so glad the dog gets to participate in the wedding, too. That’s what family does.
So cute – most of the frenchie’s I know are really serious, but this guy just looks like fun!
