Puppy Love: Munich

These photos from lifestyle photographer Brooke Ashley Photography brightened up an otherwise gray and dreary day.  It is pouring rain here, but in my mind I’m going to Savannah, Georgia and enjoying a glorious afternoon on the beach with an adorable rescue puppy!  

From Brooke:  “Meet the ever adorable Munich Augustus Minton. Megan and Michael got married just a little over 4 months when they decided to add a fur baby to their family. Megan+Michael adopted Munich from Coastal Pet Rescue.mm With Mister Munich now a part of the family, they knew they wanted to update their family portrait! I was so happy to hang out with Megan, Michael, and Munich on the beautiful Driftwood Beach and capture some adorable, fun, images for them.”

From Megan:  “My husband and I decided we wanted a dog late last year. We put in applications all over and Coastal Pet Rescue finally got back to us in February.  Michael was in the Field and I didn’t have a way of letting him know that they would be coming by, until the day before, to meet him. There wasn’t much time for us to talk about it. The lady brought him by the next day, and he stayed. Whether he liked it or not! Munich Augustus is the best part of our day. He is energetic, stubborn, motivated by beef jerky minis or food in general. He still loves and plays with a fluffy duck that was his first toy ever from us. He is a runner, and has a friend we run with weekly named Darby in the neighborhood. We love to visit the Bark Park in Bryan County where we meet new friends regularly. He is Akita German-Shepherd mix, so he is loyal, but socializing is important. The rescue organization didn’t have an exact date of birth, they just knew about that he would have been born mid October.  So we gave him the birthday of 10-10-14!”
