Sometimes a person isn’t looking for love, but love finds her anyhow. This is exactly what happened to Maureen and her little dog, Joy. Connie White from CWLife Photography took these great studio pet portraits entitled The Many Faces of Joy.
From Connie: “Maureen wasn’t looking for a furry companion when she was introduced to a litter of three-week-old puppies by her friend. Her friend fosters dogs for the Arizona Humane Society.
Maureen instantly fell in love with this little bundle of ‘joy,’ as all of her puppy siblings were so much larger than her.
She went home that night and after much consideration, she called her friend and asked is she could bring the puppy home for a house visit. After several weeks they had a home visit, and Joy and Maureen were instant companions. Maureen is not she sure if she chose Joy, or if Joy chose her. Maureen adopted Joy when Joy was two and a half months old, and they are great friends!”
From Maureen: “I may have saved Joy’s life, but she rescued me. She chose me, and my life is forever changed.”

What beautiful photographs! I love how Joy was captured not only in her beautiful moments, but also fun ones like the tongue photo! Her name is just perfect for her as she must bring so much joy to Maureen. My Mom had a mini Poodle named Joy because of just that…as a little puppy, she immediately brought her so much joy! Love Connie’s photography work!
