I love sharing a smile to start the week. Although I’m sure he didn’t need the extra insurance, Josh surprised Anna Kathryn with a Goldendoodle puppy along with a marriage proposal. Kansas City photographer, Mikaela Wendel was in on the whole plan. I imagine that this was one of the best days ever for all of them!
From Mikela: “Josh contacted me from out of state to capture his proposal to Anna Kathryn. I love proposals. When he told me that he got her a puppy (the breed she had wanted for eight years), I was so psyched. I ended up watching the puppy beforehand since they were coming from out of town and he didn’t want to ruin the surprise.
When she saw the puppy, she was so excited that she played with her for a solid five minutes. Josh had to grab her hand and pull her back up after a while so he could get down on one knee and propose. She was so surprised and so happy. You just can’t beat a puppy proposal.”
From Josh: “Ellie turned one on January 21, 2018. She is a Goldendoodle. Ellie is a sweet, smart, fun-loving puppy and my wife’s dream dog. I proposed to Anna Kathryn soon after I got Ellie and that was on May 6th, 2017. 
I have known my wife for five years, and we have been married a little less than one year. She is currently in basic training, and I am deployed to Kuwait.”
