Losing a family pet to death is never easy, but it is a part of life. While a cherished member of the family can never be replaced, the human heart has an enormous capacity to love. Everyone grieves differently, but I think adding a new pet to the family is a wonderful way to help heal. When the time was right for Blue’s new family to get another dog, Charlene from Paw Prints Pet Portraits by Charlene was there to capture a wonderful new friendship. Enjoy puppy love at its finest!
From Charlene: “Mia’s new puppy, Blue, is way too cute! Her family just lost their Dachshund/Chihuahua mix at 14 years old, and they looked for the same breed when the house seemed so empty after their loss. Blue is the perfect fit for them, and how adorable are these two together?”
It looks to me like Mia and Blue are going to have a lot of fun together!

I really love seeing those black and white portraits.
It never occurred to get pro pics when adopting a dog. But it’s a really nice idea to save those memories from the early days with a pup.
