It is heartbreaking to say that final goodbye to a loved one. Laura Matthews Photography sent me these photos of Rudy who is in Laura’s words “forever loved.”
He’s been declining in health recently, and his family knows his time is most likely very short. He has the sweetest smile and spirit, not to forget the softest ears and head.
Rudy has a precious brother, Lucas, who is blind. Elia, John, and their daughter, Lily, have incredible hearts. They have a soft spot for elderly, orphaned animals who have special needs. They have rescued many animals from Henrico Humane Society where Elia also volunteers.
Rudy is such a handsome ol‘ guy, and I was so glad to be able to capture him with his family during this bittersweet time.”
Sadly Rudy passed away a few weeks after these photos were taken, but I am sure his love still fills his family’s hearts.
