My heart is heavy today. Last night I learned that the lovely and endearing Soda from Pretty Fluffy has passed away. I know that everyone sends love and healing thoughts to Serena and all those who love Soda. These photos were previously featured on Daily Dog Tag and were taken by Petal Photography.
With grace and heartfelt sentiment, Serena shared the news of her beautiful girl. My thoughts are with Serena and all those who love Soda.
I feel a deep sadness, but I am happy that we were allowed to fall in love with Soda. Although I never met her, I feel like I knew her, and of course, I fell in love with her. Soda not only made a difference to the people who knew her in person, but she also has fans all over the world. Soda will be missed tremendously, but her love and joyfulness will stay with the people who loved her best. A heart dog never leaves your heart.

Words cannot describe how touched I am to read this beautiful tribute to my best friend. Soda was and always will be so special to me and will forever be in my heart.
While the grief of losing her is still all too raw, I truly believe the memories I have of her will be some of the most joyous I will ever have. I also feel so lucky to have had such a strong bond with her that I honestly feel her spirit by my side and in that way she has never left.
