Winston, the French Bulldog, spent a lovely day in the forest and fields with Cat from Wild Connections Photography. He was accompanied by his favorite person, and Cat’s longtime friend, Jess.
From Cat: “I’ve known Jess since we were little girls. We were thick as thieves, playing together in out front gardens. We grew up surrounded by animals, and out love for all creatures great and small is one of the things that still brings us together now. Although many years have gone by, and we’ve moved further apart from each other, we still try to get together when we can to catch up.
And at our last meeting, I finally got to meet the handsome and funny new man in her life, and we took a walk in the woods behind the houses where we grew up.
Winston and Jess are a real dynamic duo. She loves taking him on long walks through the countryside and to show his appreciation; he’ll run along and roll over every few hundred meters. But getting him to pose for pictures is pretty easy. Anything Jess says, Winston will do for her. (Most of the time.)”
From Jess: “Winston is a 2-year-old French Bulldog with the most joyful, clown-like personality! On his Instagram page (@winston_bat_dag), I describe him as a self-proclaimed rolly-pollie champion, with an expression that is extraordinarily hard to read! We are quite the dynamic duo. He is certainly woman’s best friend! We love to explore the countryside together and he is particularly fond of performing his best rolly-pollies on the beach! He also inspired me to start my own pet care business and gets to come along and play with my dog customers which he loves!”

For a while now, I’ve been convinced we need a deaf Frenchie in our family. I mean, how can you not love that spunk packed into a compact body! AND they have that squishable face. I love Winston!
