Autumn is my favorite season, so I was especially delighted to receive this gorgeous fall session from Alberta photographer Davin G Photography. Big open fields and golden light is the perfect setting for this active family.
From Davin: “Back in July, my Facebook Page reached 500 ‘Likes’ so I gave away a lifestyle session. In August I drew the name of one lucky winner, Jesse! I photographed Jesse and her husband Josh, along with their two dogs, Texx & Razz. We headed to a location just outside of town that was filled with trees, embracing the beautiful Fall colors. As some of you might already know, I’m a big dog lover so I was super excited to meet Texx and Razz. Jesse and Josh were a pleasure to work with & their two fur-babies posed perfectly (after a few dog treats of course)!”
From Jesse: “Texx is the large black dog. He is a Border Collie x Australian Shepherd and is 1.5 yrs old. Razz is the little blue Merle Sheltie x miniature Australian shepherd who is almost 3. We compete with both of them in agility and I qualified for nationals with Razz this past year in Leduc.
Razz is a spunky little dog with a lot of attitude. She has a ton of energy and can always make us laugh. When we get out on the agility field she is completely focused and ready to give it her all. At the end of the day though, you can always find her laying curled up under the covers with us!
Texx is the friendliest dog. He especially loves to play with children who will throw his favourite toy for him, the tennis ball! In what ever Texx is doing he gives it 110 percent and is always willing to work, but he to at the end of the day loves to cuddle right up to you!”
