I have a soft spot for rescued dogs. Both Molly and Louise were adopted out of the SBK Animal Center. They are living the good life now which includes ample food, love, and even an epic photo shoot on Roan Mountain with Katy Sergent Photography.
From Katy: “I met Andrea and Tyler through my husband’s family and am so glad that I did! Andrea and Tyler have been married for 2 and a half years. They are fur-parents to their two adorable pups, Molly and Louise! Molly is a tan shepherd mix dog, who is two years old.
Tyler had adopted and brought Molly home spontaneously as a surprise to Andrea! They then adopted Louise, their one and a half-year-old black hound mix, not too much longer.
Andrea and Tyler had just returned from a vacation out West where they camped, hiked, and visited San Diego, Yosemite National Park, Las Vegas, and Zion National Park. When Andrea asked me to take photos of her, Tyler and the pups on top of Roan Mountain, I thought it was only fitting for this adventurous couple! Although it was a chilly night on the mountain, these four rocked their session, and I captured the last bit of sun and blue horizon.”
From Andrea: “We got Molly (blonde) first, and she enjoyed nearly a year of being an only child. She’s our wild one. Molly is very energetic, she loves to run up and down the stairs or in circles. She has some shepherd in her.
Louise (black & white) is more laid back. She has the funniest bark, kind of like a hound. But she runs fast like a Border Collie.
They play really well together, which we worried about at first. Molly isn’t always friendly to other dogs, but these two hit it off! Both of them are crazy powerful chewers- we can’t give them most toys. They love ice cubes as well as any type of food or treats. Their little butts hover above the floor when it’s dinner time. They’re just too excited to sit!”
