From Mia: “I loved watching a girl and her dog and being able to document sweet moments between Emily and Mia. We decided to meet at a park in St. Louis, Mo. Mia was attentive to Emily. And both, pretty and delicate. Emily’s parents were even there to get in on some shots. One of my favorite shots during our time together was of Mia and Emily’s sparkling shoes. Emily had a couple of shoe changes during their shoot, I remember thinking.~’What else can a girl need? Just a cute pair of shoes and her dog.'”
From Emily: “Mia has been my fur baby for 13 years, she’s named after ‘Princess Diaries’ and lives up to her name. 
She’s sweet and cuddly and goes absolutely everywhere with me.”

I’ve been meaning to do this for a while. But so far, I have gotten some good photos from rescue/fundraiser events. A lot of local photographers in my area volunteer for dog rescues and there’s usually a photo session fundraiser around each holiday. Just posted some Valentine images recently.
Yup, we always get our pets from a shelter. I’d feel weird getting a pet from a breeder unless they had one that really needed a home. I love to help animals in need.

Love Yorkies they have so much personality and make great pets. I have not had one but I have always wanted to adopt one. Mia and Emily look great together this has inspired me to do a photo shoot with my Bella.
