Whether she is photographing in the forest or someone’s home, Laurie Jean Photography captures the love between her subjects beautifully. Laurie photographed Meara and her husband’s wedding. So they were excited for her to also photograph their first year anniversary. Naturally, they planned on including the dogs, Rascal and Ruger. Unexpectedly, Ruger is a skilled photo bomber.
From Laurie: “This was a one year anniversary session for my beautiful friend Meara and her husband. What we didn’t expect was that their sweet dog decided it was he that wanted to be the center of attention. And so he shall be.”
From Meara: “I was excited to get photos taken of one year anniversary, Laurie’s idea to take a lifestyle shoot was perfect, she brilliantly captured the honeymooning spirit of our marriage even a year later. Rascal is the black dog, he is a Basset Hound-Pug mix.
He is eleven years old in September and loves to sleep and go for short walks.
Ruger (also known as Ruger Roo) is the brindle color guy. He is an old English Bulldog Boston Terrier mix. He just turned two in February and is a big love bug.
Both dogs adore our new baby.”
