Happy Tails: Cupcake

Sometimes you see a dog and know instantly that it has the perfect name. Cupcake is one of those dogs. This little girl looks like she is as sweet as can be and has the perfect amount of fluff to be cute. Thanks to Caitlin Elizabeth Photography for this adorable session!

From Caitlin: “ ‘Hello! Hello! Hi! Hey! How are you?! Hello!’ You would have thought I was a little nuts if you heard what I was saying during my session with Ashley and her adorable pup Cupcake! Ashley moved to Santa Fe this year just like I did and she’s easily one of the nicest women you will ever meet! When she’s not in front of my camera, Ashley is the extremely creative owner of Darte Collections, an Artisanal Design company that features Handcrafted Gifts and Home Decor! Check her out on Etsy also! Cupcake is a charming two year old Golden Doodle with a TON of energy! The thing that finally captured Cupcake’s attention enough to get some darling photos of her was saying “Hello!” Not just once but over and over with as much energy as possible! Well it worked because I could not be happier with these photographs! Thank you Ashley and Cupcake for letting me into your home and letting me make some wonderful memories with you!”

From Ashley: “Cupcake is such a loving dog, I don’t know what I would do with out her! She brings so much happiness into our home. She is great company (since I work a lot from home), loves to play, go on hikes, spend time and cuddle with her family. It’s funny how past 7 o’clock at night she waits by the door for my husband to arrive from work to give him a big welcome home. Another adorable thing she does is sometimes waits for everyone to have dinner, and eats when we are all together. We recently moved to Santa Fe, NM and have been here for about 6 months and love it.. especially Cupcake. Now she has a lot more space to run in the yard, go on hikes and have fun in beautiful New Mexico.

This is how I met Caitlin, she is a great person inside and out! Cupcake and I had such a fun time working with her! And what can I say, the pictures came out adorable!! Cupcake is a mini-goldendoodle and turned two on August 14.”
