When it comes to holiday photos, I love seeing the whole family included. Photographer Nathalia Frykman is in total agreement and always encourages her clients to bring their pets to a portrait session. Cooper and Sadie joined their humans, Elizabeth and Patrick, at the Spring Brook Christmas Tree Farm in Carrollton, Georgia.
From Nathalia: “Patrick and Elizabeth met in college at Georgia Southern University where they adopted Cooper, now almost 7. They moved back to Atlanta in 2013 and got married in 2016. Once they moved into a house, they wanted to get another dog.
Liz and Patrick have always been extreme dog lovers and always wanted the opportunity to get another dog since they love Cooper so much. In September 2017, they walked by a dog rescue and found Sadie. She was almost six months old in these photos. Cooper is believed to be a Lab/German Shepherd mix, and Sadie is a Border Collie/Lab mix. They both love each other very much, and Sadie usually won’t leave Cooper’s side!
This family would not take any photos if the dogs were not allowed. Patrick and Elizabeth believe their pups are really their adopted children and they love them deeply! What a sweet family!”
From Elizabeth and Patrick: We are absolute dog lovers. From the time we started dating, it was clear we both loved dogs and we quickly adopted Cooper while in college at Georgia Southern University. Years later after getting married, we adopted Sadie. While we definitely have our hands full with the two dogs, there is nothing we would ever change! We love these two sweet, cuddly, and quirky mutts more than anything!”
Sadie was adopted from Pregnant Dog Rescue in Griffin, Georgia. They save pregnant dogs, whelped litters, and orphaned puppies from euthanasia. If now is the time to add a puppy to your life, please consider a rescue pup! If you’re not looking to add to your family, a donation to a rescue organization is a great gift idea.

Oh, these are truly stunning photos! I absolutely love the idea of having holiday photos done, but at a tree farm just topped my list of terrific ideas! What a wonderful and beautiful keepsake to always have!
