Whenever a family has a big happy event, I think that a photoshoot is a perfect way to celebrate it. Emma and Chris hired Tasha Barbour Photography to capture family photos on their new property. Naturally, they brought along their dogs, Cooper and Addi.
From Tasha: “One way to make me a happy photographer is to incorporate your pets into your family photos, especially your dogs!
My friends Emma and Chris have a soft spot for all animals. Emma spends her free time volunteering for the local rescue, and Chris helps out too when he can. Emma is one of the BIGGEST animal lovers I know, and her heart has no bounds when it comes to them.
They are the biggest lovers of their two pups, Cooper and Addi! I was so excited to take family photos for them at their new property and chase the dogs around. Those two pups gave us all a work out that’s for sure, but we all had a great time & I love slobbery dog kisses, so that makes it all worth it!

From Emma and Chris: “Our pups definitely have their own personalities. Cooper is so happy-go-lucky and loves everyone he meets. While Addi is stubborn and has an ‘I run the show ‘ personality, but she secretly loves to cuddle. I believe that rescue animals love better than any other because they know what it is like to not have a family of their own. We have rescued all of our animals from Lake Norman Humane in Mooresville, North Carolina.”

They are so adorable. As a photographer, I must ask how in the world do you get the pups to sit still while snapping photos. My dog is a busy body and if I don’t have a ball near by, I can forget snapping some photos of him. He is rotten though.
