I always like to start the week off with a smile, and I just love this family session starring their little dog Charlie, from Erin Morrison Photography. Charlie is a darling little girl who also goes by the names of Chuckie and Chuck. Charlie is a Shih Tzu Maltese mixed breed.
From Erin: “I made my way out to the McCormick home in Maryville, Tennessee on a warm, summer day. The home is nestled just off a main road, and it is immaculate; it is lined by a beautiful white fence in front with huge, green acres in back. It really was the perfect place for family photos.
I was called out to the home by Kasey to grab photos of the entire family (including Charlie their dog) before Jake went off to the Navy in a couple of weeks.
And I am so happy that she asked me to join them for an evening because I don’t think that I have laughed that hard in a long time! Seriously. As we walked around the property I heard some hilarious stories that completely reminded me of my family and made me want to pick of the phone and call my mom and dad.”
From Kasey: “There is not a day that goes by that she isn’t able to warm our hearts and bring a smile to our faces. You can always expect to be welcomed with her over excited kisses whenever you enter our home.
Charlie definitely has a personality of her own, she’s like a real life cartoon character. It’s the small things in life that matter most, and Chuck is proof of that in our lives.
She may not fetch, but she sure as heck wants you to throw that the ball!”
