Dogs are one of life’s greatest joys. Getting to spend days like this with them, well, let’s just say I’m envious in the good way. Thanks to Terran Bayer from Westway Studio for letting us live vicariously through her photos!
From Terran: “Meet Bailey & Tucker, two rescue pups who hit the jackpot with finding their forever family! Bailey, the Collie-mix, was adopted from the Wake County SPCA in Garner, North Carolina. She has traveled with her family all across the US, including Raleigh, NC; Seattle, WA; and now San Diego, CA! A few years after adopting Bailey, Tucker, the Cattledog-mix, became the family’s newest addition. He was rescued from the Lewis County Animal Shelter in Chehalis, WA.
These two have lots of energy and I’m pretty sure they could play all day. We started our session at a park on Coronado Island in San Diego where we had a beautiful view back at the city and some pretty greenery. Bailey and Tucker LOVE the beach, so we headed over there next. As soon as they were let off-leash at the beach, they took off running.
Happiness was just radiating from them both. We ran, we played catch, and had an absolutely wonderful time at the beach!”

The dogs are beautiful! Seeing them active makes me want to get out and do something with my pup. I wish I could train her to be okay without a leash. She is such a runner.
