Without a doubt, dogs are a huge part of our lives. I love these beautiful photos from Alicia Lynn Photography, that chronicle some of the important moments for this family, including their engagement photos, wedding, and their first year anniversary.
From Melanie: “Axel was my first baby that took to James quickly. However, Axel also suffered from separation anxiety and our good friend Samantha who could no longer keep Reese was looking for another family to take her in. We took her in, and those two have been perfect together.
They are both full of character and keep us entertained. Axel is the more ‘mature’ one that likes to be lazy unless there is a bird, squirrel, or even stick around in the backyard.
He also longs for car rides and peanut butter treats. Axel is very smart and does a lot of tricks.
Reese is obsessed with tennis balls. She is goofy and pounces around like a cat until Axel gives in to play with her. She is full of energy and also happy!”

This is the cutest shoot! My dog is so difficult to photograph because he’s still a puppy so he’s super wiggly haha.
