One of my favorite days of the year is Giving Tuesday. This new global day of giving back, always makes me hopeful and also leaves me feeling empowered. Because I can make a difference for others.
This year I’ll be donating to Best Friends Animal Society. Even better, all donations made on Giving Tuesday will be matched by generous supporters of Best Friends. Which is one more awesome reason to donate now! If you can’t give on Tuesday, your gift will still be matched this holiday season!

I had no idea that there an international day of giving. Best Friends is a worthy cause for sure! And boy do they have a lot of cute things in their store. I bet I know who got the cookbook.

Best Friends does such great work! I always wanted to visit when I lived in Phoenix, but this Summer we moved back to NY, a moved that wasn’t planned for very long. It’s great that they’ll be matching donations all season!

Giving Tuesday is pretty new, it began in 2014.
Our Hounds and Holidays Giveway will be making a donation to Best Friends – the brands are donating product or money.
