I am a little jealous of photographer Amanda Ellis; she gets to see this handsome guy every day! Tucker is the epitome of a lucky dog. Not only did he find a loving home with Amanda, but he also dodged a bullet thanks to an Australian Cattle Dog Rescue. If you are involved in dog and cat rescue, thank you for helping pets like Tucker enjoy a happy life!
From Amanda: “This is Tucker, the Australian Cattle Dog! A group called AuCaDo rescued him. Tucker and his brother lived on a puppy mill farm and were going to be shot because they were ‘too old’ even though they were still puppies. AuCaDo saved them and put them into a foster home. That’s where we met Tucker!
We weren’t sure who to pick, either him or his brother. But we decided on Tucker as he was calmer and more personable. He has been an amazing addition to our family, and I am so glad he is safe and loved now!”

Gorgeous pictures! Tucker is so photogenic. Thanks to Amanda for adopting him. Both of mine were adopted and I volunteer with the local shelter and also a non-profit that focuses on spay/neuter.
It is so important. Thanks for sharing! #AdoptDontShop
Thank you for doing so much to prevent homeless animals. I wish puppy mills would become a thing of the past.

Tucker is adorable. I can’t believe they wanted to shoot him!
I can’t believe it either, Puppy Mills are just awful places.
What a photogenic little guy. I have a secret love for cattle dogs. They’re so sassy looking!
They always look like they have a fun secret!
Tucker is beautiful & what a little poser he is! So many very high energy dogs end up in shelters & rescues, people really need to do their research.
