Happy New Year’s! I know lots of people are looking back and sharing their favortie posts of the year, but I wanted to share these lovely pet lifestyle portraits by Sanna Ikäläinen of Toast Photos of her dog Sulo. Sanna and Sulo live in Finland, these photos were taken over the last 8 years.
From Sanna: “My dog is called Sulo, which in old Finnish means sweet, and he truly lives up to his name. He usually goes everywhere with me and frequently travels on the subway and trains. More often than not fellow travelers want to meet him and comment on his teddy bear – like looks.
He is an American Cocker Spaniel (or maybe just a Cocker Spaniel to you) and loves dogs and other animals. He doesn’t really care about people that much (other than his family), but is polite and friendly and even very tolerant to kids. He is usually a very well behaved city dog, but when we go to cafes and restaurants, he does tend to edge himself towards other tables in hopes of treats from strangers.
Sulo is very used to my camera and usually knows to strike a pose whenever the camera is out. These photos were taken throughout the years and all over Finland.
Some of them on shoot locations and some on our daily walks.
Sulo was in included in an engagement shoot with two of my close friends.
I got him when he was 11 weeks old and we have been inseparable since.”
