I don’t know why I love odd couples so much, but I do! This pair of dog siblings just makes me happy knowing they exist. Seeing their photos makes my day even better. I can only imagine Shanna Duffy must be constantly smiling because she lives with this adorable duo!
From Shanna: “Magick is an AKC registered Newfoundland dog. Our family (six kids and two adults) had a very specific wish for a Newfoundland because he was to be a service/ therapy dog for out autistic son, Raven. This all happened eight years ago, we were one of the first families to ever use an animal to alleviate the symptoms of autism. Over the years as Raven’s autism symptoms have gotten much better, and Magick has transitioned into much more of a beloved part of our family than a service animal. 
Last year on a rainy morning in February, my husband was driving home from his third shift job at the hospital, and in the break down lane in a non- residential area, there was this fluffy little puppy, cold, wet and very afraid. When he came in with this little guy, I objected, asking him what he was going to do with the puppy. Within minutes, he was my dog, and I have never loved anything as much as I love Koda.
We are quite certain due to looks, and behavior that Koda is a half Pomeranian and half Sheltie. Koda is a ball of energy with a constant smile on his face. We have considered entering him into agility because he is the fastest dog I have ever seen in my life. Both Magick and Koda get along like perfect best friends, Koda always is caring for and grooming Magick who is happy to lie on the floor like a rug and let him.”
