The first year of life is a time of rapid growth for dogs, and I appreciate that Mark Bilash from Vintage and Vogue Photography made it a priority to record his dog’s puppyhood. Marlowe is an American Bulldog-Boxer mix.
From Mark: “My studio specializes in photography with a Vintage Flair. We got an American Bulldog-Boxer Pup in March 2015 as a family pet and studio mascot.
He is named Marlowe after the fictional Raymond Chandler Film Noir detective.”
Several of the puppy images were in a vintage style or with vintage vehicles (1950 Dodge auto and 1952 International pickup) that my studio owns 1950 Dodge auto and 1952 International pickup.
While no dog enjoys having to wear a cone, I love Marlowe’s expression while he is wearing the cone of kindness.

What a beautiful dog! I loved seeing the changes in his nose!
So precious! We have had an American Bulldog for 9 years now and she is wonderful! Although she is not a fan of our English Bulldog…she likes all the attention 🙂
It can be tough to share the limelight!
Awww! So cute <3 Puppies grow so fast!!
Marlowe continues to entertain us daily with his bulldog antics. Recording him with our photography keeps a great visual record for us. Thanks so much for sharing our lovely “boy” with all the other dog lovers of the world.
He’s such a handsome boy! Thanks for letting me share him!
How adorable! I am a huge dog lover!
Awe these are great… what a cutie!! I’m embarrassed to say, I wish I had photographed more of my girls when they were puppies.
Loving all these images you share. What a stunner. Have fun on the Best Friends trip!
Thank you Carol, I’m really excited about it!
I always enjoy watching a dog mature and appreciate seeing the journey chronicled in photos. Thanks for sharing this handsome boy.
I love this series. Some of the colors almost make the photos look like paintings. So beautiful!
