Back to school also means school photos! While the traditional headshots taken by the school photographer become endearing with time, they don’t usually have a lot of personality. I think it is really important for both the parents and the students to have high quality senior photos. On the brink of leaving the nest, with a world of possibilities in front of them, senior year is a turning point that shouldn’t be reduced to a standard yearbook photo. In addition to the important yearbook portrait, I love to create lifestyle images that capture their personalities, styles, ambitions, as well as their friends. These kids are our future, but at the core, they are my clients’ children. Luckily my clients tend to view their dogs as family. When the stars align, I get to create warm and beautiful portraits of a senior and her real bff… the dog!”
