This engagement session by Lorena Burns Photography shows how a few props can make a photo session even more personal. Of course, their terrier mix steals the show.
From Lorena: “Angela and Matt met almost six years ago. Matt was a drummer of a cover band, and Angela requested to sing ‘Ice Ice Baby.’ Matt and Anglea were friends for a long time before they started dating. They adopted their adorable pup Toby two years ago.
Both of their families are into Family Game night and play slightly different versions of Shang-hai/Russian Rummy. They were friends for a few years before they started dating. Angela (the bride) brought and styled all the props, including using playing cards to represent their wedding date.”
From Angela: “Toby is not lazy, he’s just motivated to do nothing but snuggle.”

LOL. Toby sounds a lot like Ruby – she is motivated to do nothing, too! I do love the props and the chest and the coffee mugs. They really look like a happy family.

Nice engagement shoot. I will I had taken one before I married. Hmm…I guess this would be a good idea for anniversaries too. Beautiful pictures and lovely couple.
