Although there are lots of things I love about summer heat and humidity aren’t among them. This dog-friendly engagement session from Heather K Cook Photography has me looking forward to autumn!
From Heather: “Bobby and Erin are such an unbelievably sweet couple. Their engagement session went perfectly, in my opinion. They both started in their ‘fancy’ outfits including a dress that made me want to go shopping right then and there.
They brought their precious dog, Stella, and we made sure to capture a ton of moments with her. I love Stella and that sweet smile! Erin’s sweet mom accompanied us on the trail as the world’s best dog attention-getter and dog watcher. I’m so thrilled at how these photos came out!”
From Erin: “Stella is a rescue from the Atlanta Humane Society Mansell Campus. We got her when she was three months old, and she will be four years in April.
Stella loves to play whether we are playing fetch in the backyard or at the dog park with other dogs. She is a big softie, who loves to cuddle and have her belly rubbed. Stella has brought so much love and happiness to our lives, we can’t imagine what life would be like without her.”

You always have the prettiest pictures and somehow make the “family pictures with dogs” thing not awkward at all. It just looks natural.
Thanks so much!
Ohh I wish I knew someone like you who could capture our family with our Basset hound, Toby!!

What a sweet sweet pup! I love that she is smiling in all of these photos!
Stella is a cutie and I love how she blends in so nicely with the trees and leaves.
Awww! Stella is such a pretty girl! I am always so jealous of people having their dogs in their engagement sessions! Our dogs are way too crazy for that to have worked. haha
You’d be surprised what a great photographer can do, even when dogs are a little crazy. Hopefully, they will calm down and you get can get some good family photos with them!
Such a cutie!
Such a lovely threesome, and some lovely settings too. Not sure I would have been so keen to sit around myself as there would be too much to explore for a cat.

What lovely pictures. People need to include their pets in celebratory pictures – always!
