Samson, the Bernese Mountain Dog, was just a pup when these photos were taken, even though he was over 50 pounds! Photographers often have their clients fill out a questionnaire ahead to help prepare them for the shoot as well as to get to know the clients a little better. New Jersey photography Jaye Kogut sent one to her clients, Mary and Gary. This may be my favorite question and answer that I’ve ever read. “Describe your relationship in one sentence: SAMSON (our Bernese Mountain Dog.)”
From Mary: “When we did the photo shoot Samson was 6/7 months and probably about 50 pounds. He loves playtime with mom and dad, short walks, and all the belly rubs! His favorite snack is whipped cream- a bad habit he picked up at Grandma’s!
Winter is his favorite season because of all of the snow. In the summer, he can be found indoors next to an air vent. We recently got a Roomba vacuum, so naturally, he has a new friend to chase all over the house! We absolutely adore Sammy and all of his craziness.”
