Although it was hard to say goodbye to summer this year, I am not a fan of hot weather. Here’s a refreshing look at cooler days with a stunning engagement session with a Chow Chow and Husky mix courtesy of From the Hip Photo.
From Kelly: “What could be more adorable that a beautiful mountainside engagement photo session for a fun-loving couple? Well obviously, their Husky Chow Chow mix, Oakley! The puppy princess, with one blue eye and one brown eye, is the real model of this little family. Ashley, Zech and Oakley love exploring Colorado, and the Denver Broncos, of course.”
From Ashley: “Oakley Rosé is a one-year-old Chow Chow Husky mix that we adopted from 2 Blondes All Breed Rescue.
Oakley’s favorite things are cookies, high fives, playing with her tennis ball and camping!
She makes sure she scares away all the bunnies and geese in our neighborhood. Oakley is the most lovable dog you’ll ever meet; the perfect friend and cuddle buddy for little kiddos and our fragile elders.
She is our pride and joy!”

Love that third shot! So happy and relaxed. It looks like a fun day.
You keep posting these beautiful sessions and now I really want to do an engagement photo session. So, I think you need to start offering a matchmaking service because I have the dogs and the Colorado backdrop, just missing the guy 😉
What a stunning dog and beautiful photography!
Oakley Rose is so beautiful. She looks very similar to my dog growing up who was named Brutus – though he didn’t have the two different color eyes. Such beautiful images.
Oakley is gorgeous! I love the odd eyes! This couple looks to be very in love with one another and with Oakley. I hope they have many years of happiness together! These photos are stunning.
What I love about this is the fact that Oakley was adopted, a rescue. I hope more and more people opt to go to the shelter and adopt.
The pictures are adorable!! Great job!!
I always love the special occasions that include animal companions. These are beautiful photos!
What a great photo shoot! Whenever I get engaged, my huskies will most certainly be part of the photos 🙂
