Mister, a mixed breed, was in a tricky situation when he met Daniel. Hopefully, he was blissfully unaware of the danger he might have been in. Charlotte photographer, Casey Hendrickson, is dog-obsessed, so she’s always thrilled when her clients bring their dogs to their photography sessions.
From Sara: “We think Mister has both Shepherd and Chow traits.
My fiancé does emergency restoration, and he got Mister from a house fire about a year and a half ago. The previous owners were renting the house, and could not take him where they were going. Daniel went to assess the damage and was told that Mister was left behind to be picked up by the pound. Mister wasn’t hurt by the fire and would roam in and out of the fence afterward. Daniel wasn’t planning on taking him home, but Mister walked over and rolled over for a belly rub. And Daniel couldn’t leave him behind.
You really won’t meet a sweeter dog. Mister just wants to be loved on and petted. Most nights he sleeps in between us with his head on a pillow like a human.”

Mister is a lucky pup to have found such a nice home! Don’t even get me started on people saying they can’t take the dog, but worst of all leaving them behind. My dog Jack was left behind when his family moved. Shocking, but thankfully this is a happy ending for everyone.

What a lucky dog to find such a wonderful home I am so happy for him and it is sad that his previous owners could not take him with them. Happy endings always make me smile and the photographs are just amazing

I truly believe that a home needs a dog to become whole. Mister is such a beautiful dog and how lucky that he found his family. The photo session is beautiful I wish I coudl do something like this with my Bella.

Responsible rehoming is the answer. Whether the reason behind it is one others would agree with or not, finding a good new home is the right thing to do by the dog.
Beth says
I completely agree with you, Jana!

I’m so glad Daniel decided to save Mister, who knows where he would have ended up. It’s awful when people don’t help the pets find new homes, they just discard them like unwanted furniture. Disgraceful. These photos are lovely! You can see how loved & happy Mister is.

Mister was very lucky someone came to the house who loved dogs! I knew this was close to me when I saw the Clemson paw on Mister’s bandana. I live less than 2 hours from Charlotte.

how adorable is this! I thought about adding our dogs into our engagement photos but we were afraid they would make things hard for our photographer lol
