You can’t go wrong when you include your dog in your engagement photos. Cassady K Photography proves my point in this fall engagement session starring Dudley, the handsome dog.
From Cassady: “Casey and Billy’s engagement session with their one and a half year old black lab, Dudley.
They’re originally from Westchester, NY but moved to Arizona a year ago as they both got teaching jobs there. They came back to New York for their engagement session and Dudley joined them for some pictures in Van Cortlandt Park. Dudley loves sticks (his grandma sends them to him in the mail since they don’t have them in Arizona) and he even wore a bow tie to the session.”
From Casey: “We got Dudley in September of 2013, he will be 2 years old on August 7th. One of our friends from college had a neighbor whose dog had gotten loose and had given birth to 11 puppies; 10 girls and only 1 boy! My friend had went and picked up one of his sisters, and when we saw her we knew we had to go. We arrived at the house, all the puppies were running around. Dudley walked up to Billy, just plopped on his lap and we knew he was the one for us! My best friend had just passed away and it left a very big void in my heart. We had been talking about getting a puppy for a long time (since we have been together 8 years), and both just knew that this was the right time. Dudley from the minute we got him brought so much joy to our lives. Dudley likes to be included in ALL hugs. He comes, jumps up and wraps his legs around your waist and hugs us! He knows many tricks, but his favorite is giving high fives.
He is a lovable, mushy monster and we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

He is a gorgeous boy, isn’t it funny the way some pets come into our lives? Sampson was the only golden boy in his litter. I can’t imagine any other puppy would have been as wonderful as he is.
What a great job you have taking such beautiful pictures of people and their pets.

Beautiful photos and such a stunning guy; I love the story of him plopping right onto his lap. That’s the way a lot of our canine companions come into our lives.
