The last few days it felt like spring was on its way. However, today, it is snowing again, and it looks like Punxatawny Phil might have been right after all. So I’m sharing a little warmth via these engagement photos of a handsome Australian Shepherd and his favorite people from Chelsea Paige Photography.
From Chelsea: “Aaron and Lauren met at Franklin Pierce University. They had the same class together and then later met through friends, and the rest is history.
Aaron and Lauren had their first official date in downtown Boston with dinner on Newbury Street and a walk through the Public Gardens. They dated for 4.5 years and then got engaged on the beach in Palm Beach, Florida! Aaron planned it all himself and picked the ring out himself as well!! They will be saying ‘I do’ at Legare Waring House at Charles Towne Landing on May 4, 2018.
Dexter is a year and a half old Blue Merle Australian Shepherd. He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war, go on walks and have his belly rubbed & snuggle play with the neighborhood kids, and go on truck rides. Dexter’s first time on the beach was during his mom and dad’s engagement session.”
From Lauren and Aaron: “Dexter just turned two years old. He is such a little love bug and LOVES to play. Dexter is also a very smart puppy – he has learned many tricks in his short two years, and we are currently working on agility work! He is a very active dog and makes friends easily whether it be people, other dogs, cats, etc.
Dexter loves to go on car rides and will make sure to quickly sweep up any food that is dropped on the ground. We sometimes call him ‘our little human’ as he loves to sit on the couch and look out the window as well sleep with his head on a pillow.
We love Dexter so much and are so happy to share him with everyone else!”
I don’t know about you, but I’m hoping that Dexter is part of the wedding!

Oh, the weather has been so crazy here, too! Two beautiful 70F degree days followed by a 40 degree drop, snow, sleet, and rain, rain, rain! Good news is, we only have a month left before the wonderful weather arrives!!!
Dexter is such a smiling, handsome boy! I love his bow tie! I, too, hope he is part of the nuptials! Beautiful photos – I am especially drawn to that last one on the beach as all of three of them gaze at the water! Very dreamy! Now, wouldn’t that make a lovely invitation?! I bet it was hard to keep Dexter out of the water during the photo shoot. My sister has two Aussies and they love water.
