Its no secret that I think dogs should be included in engagement sessions. I am enjoying this unique and beautiful engagement session from Sarafina Photographs. Cadence Pagano combined a gorgeous couple, their Boston Terrier, a vintage canoe and some unexpected fog for an incredibly romantic engagement shoot.
From Cadence: “I wanted to create a very special engagement session for Jasmine and Joe. After talking about different types of locations for weeks (and pinning like crazy), Jasmine and I finally decided to embrace her and Joe’s love for nature, water, and of course Dahlia, their dog. We chose the Nissequogue River, symbolizing their journey ahead. Jasmine and Joe are a stunning couple; Jasmine is a teacher and Joe a a cop. The couple often go on hikes with Dahlia, go surfing, or canoe on the river. We loaded up the beautiful vintage canoe and ventured out to the river. I was expecting a sunset, but in rolled the fog.
Jasmine brought along a bouquet of dried flowers she received for her engagement. As I put the ring on the moss to set up the flowers & mason jar, Dahlia walked over placed her paws on either side of the ring. The whole night she was running around exploring and for this moment she was frozen in the dark woods. “
