Buddy, the Golden Retriever, joined his favorite people for their engagement photos with CR Photography. Naturally, the photographers couldn’t resist taking a few photos of Buddy by himself in addition to ones with his family.
From Cris: “Recently we met up with Adan and Anakaren at Mission Trails in Santee for their engagement session. We truly loved this shoot. Not only did we get to photograph this super fun couple, (who are clearly madly in love with each other), but their dog was there for the shoot as well! If you know anything about us, it’s that we love dogs. So we were thrilled that Buddy came along for his mom and dad’s engagement shoot!
He was excited about the shoot and did a great job posing for many of the photos. Adan and Anakaren also did a great job; their good looks, an outdoor location and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot one of our favorites yet! We are so excited for what’s ahead for these two as they get ready for their big day along with their handsome dog Buddy.”
From Anakaren: “Buddy is a 2-year-old golden retriever, that we rehomed from an online post. He had four types of parasites and had a lot of health issues when we first got him.
Buddy is the sweetest boy; he loves everyone unconditionally. He does this strange thing of crying very loudly, that when you first hear him do this, you think he is in pain of some sort. But he is crying with excitement because he is so happy to see you that he can’t contain his emotions. He loves forehead kisses and being carried by his Dad. Buddy makes life so much brighter and happier; we wouldn’t know what to do without him. “

What an adorable pup!! I need to get some photos taken with my husband and our two dogs, but our dogs are crazy, so the photographer would have to be super patient and LOOOOOOOOOVE dogs haha

I love Goldens. Every one of them I met was the sweetest. I don’t think I’d want to deal with the high cancer risk. And I’d rather spend an extra hour walking or playing with my dog than brushing LOL
