I’m totally in love with these Boxers who were part of an engagement session with Heidi Calma Photography. Toby and Gretchen (the dogs) had a very special bond before they ever met their humans.
“Alicia and Tom are busy professionals in the engineering and information technology world, and they love their pups so much that they had to make them a part of their engagement session. This on the go couple spent some time at historic Fort Monroe with their pups, Toby and Gretchen, who had so much fun posing perfectly, enjoying the outdoors, and getting some extra snuggles!”
From Tom and Alicia: “Toby and Gretchen are very much part of our family. They are Boxers — Gretchen is almost 10 yrs old, and Toby is 9.5 yrs old.
These two dogs couldn’t be more opposite given they are inseparable. Gretchen is our protector but does not like to get dirty. Toby, on the other hand, is a typical boy who lives to swim or dig holes but is scared of his own shadow. The ironic part of their story is originally there was only supposed to be a single puppy. When I traveled to North Carolina to pick Toby out of his litter, I found that he followed Gretchen around the farm. After I made arrangements for him to come home with me, I returned to my car to find Gretchen in my passenger seat. And we have been inseparable ever since!!
These two pups are some of the most loving and entertaining dogs I have ever known – and I am grateful they chose us.”

LOVE Boxers 🙂 and still missing our Keeper who passed away some years ago. Also love senior dogs, so I particularly enjoyed this wonderful pair – thanks for sharing!
