Engagement sessions with dogs are my favorite kind. I’ve seen a lot of awesome “save the date” photos, but this one from Beth T Photography has to be one of my all time favorites. Blythe is a 40 pound hound mix who looks so happy to be a part of this cute engagement session.
From Beth: “I met Katie, Patrick and Blythe (their dog) for their engagement session in Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD. Blythe is absolutely adorable – he even dressed up in a bow tie for the occasion!
I was SO excited to photograph their shoot! Katie had been planning for weeks and made signs and a bow tie for Blythe! 
It was very important to include him in a lot of the shots. She and Patrick wanted to showcase their life together – and Blythe is a huge part of it! All the planning and details that Katie & Patrick put in to the shoot just highlight how large a part of their lives Blythe is. From the way Blythe behaved, you could tell he knew something special was going on. It was almost as if he was just as excited about the upcoming weddings as his humans!
It was so wonderful to be able to capture these memories for them!”

Such beautiful photos – and I must say the bow tie is one of the cutest things I’ve seen in quite some time. It’s so amazing to see dogs being incorporated into such important life moments; it’s so heartwarming. We hear so many sad stories about dogs being abandoned and abused, and on the other end of the spectrum we have lovely people who are so dedicated to their pets and treat them with such adoration and kindness. I love it.
