Featuring an engagement session with a gorgeous background like this one from Abbey Armstrong Photography in Boise, Idaho, is always a treat. However, the best part is seeing the happy humans and their pup. Harper, the Bernese Mountain Dog, looks as delighted as her humans!
From Abbey: “Katie and Charlie met by literally bumping into each other at work while living in Seattle. He was the big Important CEO guy, and Katie was just working there for fun. After that little bump, they continued to talk and eventually made a move clear to Boise together! Of course, they had to get a dog, the most perfect dog.
From Katie: “Harper came into our lives three years ago as a boisterous little ball of fur and quickly grew into the most loving giant. She loves to hike and explore new trails, but her favorite activity would be cuddling. She’s basically a big fluffy body pillow always looking for someone to snuggle. Harper has the biggest heart and has no problem flopping on a stranger’s foot to say hello, which is basically how we’ve met most of Boise.
Three years ago, we were sitting on our couch in Denver when we received a phone call that a boisterous 12-week old puppy needed a loving home. It took us less than a second to say yes. And less than 24 hours to hop on a flight to Oregon to pick her up. The second she saw us she melted into our arms with all her weight and barked at us for more attention. We quickly learned who was boss. Her favorite activity as a puppy was gently grabbing the end of the toilet paper from our hallway bathroom and running it all the way into the living room in one unbroken strand. It was quite impressive. Now three years later and 85 lbs heavier, Harper is still that happy, playful boisterous girl who has melted our heart and changed our lives.”
