Happy Caturday! This beautiful little cat found her way into a photographer, Jasmine Rose’s heart and home.
From Jasmine: “Shutter (a photography reference) is a shelter rescue. As a photographer, mother, farmer, and animal lover, it has become inevitable that our home will be one with furbabies. We initially went to the shelter in hopes of adopting a kitty for our two-year-old son, Easton. We often refer to our son as “Dr. Dolittle” because of his love of animals. Upon arriving at the shelter, we got numerous cats out of their cages, seeing how they interacted with our toddler. Even though Easton basically had her in a headlock that he saw as a loving hug, she was purring and just happy to have him love her – we instantly knew that her patience was exactly what we needed in an animal for our son. Easton has become super attached to his new furfriend, Shutter, and she is always so patient and loving toward him.
She was a wonderful shelter rescue, and adding her to our family has been a complete joy. Since adding Shutter to our family, we also have adopted a stray puppy – Harvey.
Harvey and Shutter have also become quite the pair, constantly playing and wrestling, and Easton thinks it is the funniest thing ever when they play.”

Such a lovely story – love the name. What a gorgeous model too! I love how her coat resembles the artwork in the background of the first photo (I appreciate the small things). How amazing that this story has a happy ending for TWO companions in need of rescue. They both now have a family and are siblings. LOVE!!!
