I am happy to say that lots of people include dogs in engagement sessions. Next on the list will be more cat-friendly engagement sessions like this one from Admyer Studios. Snickers have been with Lynnze since he was a few days old.
From Destiny: “Lynnze and Donnas are a couple with great personalities and style. It was amazing getting to document the love they share together. Usually, you have an engagement session with just two subjects, but they would be bringing a very special member to take pictures as a future family in this session. This little kitty has a lot of attitude and a cute face. Set the cute bowtie and style aside; he has a feature that makes him unique and special in his own way. Laughter and Love were running all over this grassy hillside while we took his pictures with the newly engaged couple.”
From Lynnze: “Snickers is nine years old. I found him at a party. He still had the umbilical cord, so I’m guessing his mom abandoned him. I had to bottle-feed him for almost a year because he would not grow. He’s very special to me because I found him two days after my closest dog got ran over. My dog’s name was Nick, which is how I came up with Snickers.
Focusing all my energy into taking care of Snickers really helped me through my dog passing.
Snickers is a crossed eyed fatty who loves to lay in the clean laundry all day or in various boxes or dresser drawers.
He has to sleep next to me every night or on top of my head.”

What a cutie Snickers is, and how special to have him in those photos. I wish people had done things like this back when I got married. We had several cats at the time, and even some kittens. That would have been so fun! 🙂

Awww -every cat should have it as good as Snickers. His humans are clearly in love – and he found a really great landing place after being left on his own. What a cute cat – and great to see more people including cats in their lifestyle moments just as they do with dogs.
