Pets are prominent members of the family. It always makes me smile to see them included in weddings, like Trixie the Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix. Thanks to Toni Jade Photography for these photos!
From Toni: “Family and friends gathered on this gorgeous late afternoon to watch Lily and Ken exchange vows overlooking the country club. 
This was a moment their little Yorkie pup was not going to miss! This couple had two ceremonies this special day to honor the tradition of her family with a Tea Ceremony. Both celebrations could not have been more perfect.
The music began to play, and our newlyweds entered their reception as husband and wife for the first time! The emotional first dance was incredible to see, but it did not stop there. The party continued into the night the rest of the evening as Lily danced the night away! One of my favorite photo moments is their sparkler kiss to end their amazing night!”
From Lily: “Trixie is a Shih-Tzu Yorkie mix. She is just over 5 lbs. Her birthday is June 5, 2006, and although she is almost 13 years old, Trixie still acts like a puppy! She is super playful and requires belly rubs on a daily basis.
She loves all of her squeaky soft stuffed animals but particularly the long ones that she carries around like doggie bones. Trixie is the definition of a daddy’s girl and absolutely loves Ken. She is also very loved by both Ken and me.”

Oh my word! My mom had a yorkie named Trixie and she looked so much like this Trixie. She was a mama’s girl though. Followed my mom everywhere she went!
I love how people like to bring their dogs into their wedding. These are some amazing photos for the bride and groom to look back on with their pup.
That is such an adorable dog. I certainly think that would be a great wedding dog. Having smaller dogs at weddings I think is a great idea.
Someone near us has yorkies for sale, and I am seriously considering getting one. They are so cute.
