Like a lot of Retrievers, Jaxon may have a stick obsession, but somehow that makes the wedding photos taken by The Gawnes even more endearing. Jaxon was the best dog in this fall wedding in Tucson, Arizona.
From Brian and Marie: “Becca and Wes had perfect weather for their fall themed wedding! In Tucson, our weather can be a little bit unpredictable in the colder months. Luckily, the temperature was perfect on Becca’s and Wes’ wedding day. It still got pretty chilly by the time the sun went down, and guests appreciated the sweet gifts of handmade flannel blankets and scarves put together by Becca’s mother.
A favorite addition of the day was the couple’s dog Jaxon, who played a very special role as the ring bearer and even got to roam around in the mansion’s courtyard (leash free) during the ceremony.
Because there was a first look, we were also able to walk around the downtown Tucson area for a few more photo opportunities before heading back for their ceremony. The ceremony took place just after sundown. Becca and Wes were fortunate enough to have an epic sunset right before they proceeded down the aisle. Once the sun was completely down the weather cooled off just in time for everyone to start dancing.”
From Becca: “I first got our dog, Jaxon, right before I met Wes. He has been there for the entirety of our relationship, so we really wanted to have him there on our special day. Initially, I was a little nervous about the idea, but he was actually a blast to have at the wedding. He made the day that much more fun, even when he picked up a stick and tried to get us to play fetch during the ceremony.”

We had our wedding at a beautiful flower conservatory in San Francisco but it did not allow dogs, so sad! Wish we had Babu with us on our special day as well! These photos are superb, Jaxon is such a nice boy!
