One of my favorite parts of blogging is sharing dogs that need to find a new home. Lisa Van Dyke photographed this gorgeous girl who was saved hours before a lethal injection and has spent 6 months waiting for her forever family.
From Lisa: “GiGi is a gorgeous Staffordshire Bull Terrier (AKA Staffy)approximately one year old and 40 lbs. She was rescued from a Sacramento area shelter and was hours away from death by injection. Fortunately she was taken in by the Hartsong Ranch Animal Sanctuary and placed in their dog program in April of this year. Now she’s just waiting to be adopted by someone who will love her. and quite frankly I am surprised no one has adopted her yet. She’s a beautiful dog, super smart and super sweet. Anyway, she walks well on the leash, loves to go for car rides.
If you are interested in meeting GiGi, please email hartsongdogs@yahoo.com. There is a re-homing or adoption fee of $150, as well as an application and interview process. Please share GiGi and lets see if we can’t help her special person find her. In addition to sharing GiGi, please visit the other blogs on the Linky Tool list and help more adoptable animals find their forever homes. Every animal adopted out of the shelter makes room for another one to be saved from lethal injection. I usually share via Pinterest, please follow and share too! Special thanks to Lisa from Dogsnpawz for organizing this blog hop!
Be sure to follow Lisa on Facebook for more adoptable pets and some beautiful pet and equine portraits!

She loves to play fetch with a stick and her fur shines gorgeously red in the sunlight! A lovely size dog too, not too small and not too big! A girl I would consider my own if not for the 3 I already have. 🙂
