Although Theo may have spent his early life as a city dog, he loves small-town life! It is easy to walk down the street to visit my sister and her dogs. We have a big fenced-in yard that he tries to keep squirrel-free (without much success.) Additionally, we have some woods and other areas that have plenty of wildlife, including deer, birds, foxes, possums, raccoons, rabbits, toads, and frogs. There is always something interesting outside.
One of his favorite things is going for a ride in our ’51 Chevy pickup. Theo never has to go to the V*E*T in it. If I ask Theo, “Do you want to go for a ride?” he makes a beeline for the truck. Of course, he rides in the front and wears a safety harness in case of an accident. (NEVER LET YOUR DOG RIDE IN THE BACK OF A PICKUP!)
Occasionally, we’ll take Theo to the grocery store, and one of us will wait with him, while the other runs in to get a few groceries. Theo loves Supreme Source® Grain Free dog food, and it is available in grocery stores as well as online.
Before 2007, I never thought about where my dog food was made. But ever since then, I’ve tried to buy dog food and treats that are prepared in the United States.
Dogs and humans have different priorities. Below are some of the reasons why I like Supreme Source.
- Made with REAL ingredients, including USDA-organic seaweed that is all-natural and sustainably harvested to help support better pet health and longevity.
- Made in the USA
- No corn, wheat, or soy (so all my dogs can eat it!)
- No artificial flavors or colors
- Available nationwide at select grocery stores and online
- It has taurine which is associated with the healthy function of the heart muscle
- A family-owned company since 1972
- Reasonably priced
- Printable coupons
However, I think the most critical factor for Theo is taste. He loves it! I can even use it as a training reward. The kibble is just the right size for my small dogs. My dogs have tried (and loved) both the turkey recipe and the salmon recipe. Kibble often gets a bad rap, but Supreme Source grain-free dog food is a great choice for my dogs. They also love Supreme Source Treats.

These are the cutest photos! The dog food sounds amazing. I only have cats, but I always search for foods that are healthy for them.
That is one fun looking truck. I’ll bet you get a lot of attention when you drive it.
I have two dogs and I am always on the look for a healthy food to improve their diet. I am so happy that it is made in the USA. Love the 51 pickup a real classic.
I LOVE your dog! He is adorable! I have not seen this dog food in the store as of yet, but it sounds like a high quality food and I will have to check it out.
I’m glad to see you found a great food for your dogs that’s made in the USA (that’s one of the criteria I use for my cats’ food, too) and with sustainably harvested stuff. Thanks for sharing this so I can tell my dog-loving friends to look for it.
I love that shot of your old truck, great photo!
I’ve tried Supreme Source for my cats – I don’t normally feed kibble but sometimes it has to be a thing. They like it ok and it is definitely the best option for a grocery kibble. Not super expensive either.
I love the photos and I know a LOT of people will prefer to buy pet food Made in the USA. It is guaranteed to be safer, better quality and enjoyed by every single dog! It is still very important to remind and tell people that not all dog food is created equal, so thank you for this.
Oh BTW people hook their dogs in the back of the ‘manly’ Ute’s (utility vehicles) and I think they are totally insane.
This dog food sounds great! I just got a new pup, and we are thinking about what kind of food we’ll want to give him. Thanks for sharing!
Theo, you’re a handsome boy. I love the pictures of him in the truck.
Lol such a great poseing and adorable dog . So cute pictures. I love reading the post and will share it with my friends who has dogs. This will be helpful for them. Thanks for sharing ❤️
Great post! I love your dog and truck. I am a firm believer in feeding your pets good food. I own a feed and seed store where we sell pet foods and supplies. Good food and Grain free food for your pet is the way to go. Our pets depend on us to care for them. Yes, lets feed them good food!
Oh my goodness your pup is so adorable! This sounds like such a great food as well, after all you always want to know you are feeding your pet the best.
What a cute little pup! Our dog died several years ago, and my children have been asking for another one, but… 🙂 This looks like a great brand of dog food, and I will pass it along to my brother and sister-in-law who have two sweet fur babies!
I just switched my dog’s food because of allergies. If this doesn’t help him, I will be sure to check out this brand.
I used to feed this to my beagles. They really enjoy it! They like variety too.
Until several years ago, I didn’t put much thought into what I fed my dog either. But after my Yorkie kept vomiting up every time he ate, I started to get a bit concerned. Now he is on a grain-free diet that is gentle on his tummy. Silly dog will eat too fast and then barf it back up. So I’ve started giving him smaller amounts to eat at a time.
I love your pick up! I never had a problem taking my pup to the V*E*T… but luckly Theo loves rides!
I have an older dog and two grand puppies. I would appreciate dog food made in the U.S. too. I want to know where our food is coming from.
I don’t have dog, my kids want one. I am not ready yet to get one. Your dog is really cute. Looks like that dog food is really great one.
I had a pomeranian and I only served him food that is made in the USA and contains natural ingredients. I can’t wait to adopt another one soon.
The photography is stunning as always.
I am a strong believer in real, or whole food, diets for dogs. We tried home-cooking, which worked great. Cookie is now on raw because she seems to prefer that. And she seems to be thriving on that.
This looks like good dog food if you are going grain free. I will have to share this with my dog friends!!
OMG OMG the dog and the old truck! The dog and the plaid scarf! The dog and the fall leaves!! So much to love! I did read about the dog food, too! 🙂
This food sounds so good for dogs, I have been thinking about getting a dog this Christmas and needing info like this! Thank you
Your dog is very photogenic. I love that this dog food is all organic which is really important.
These photos are adorable!
What a cute dog! I am always looking for a good grain free dog food for my dog. Thank you for sharing.
This a great review! I am always looking for the perfect healthy dog food for my little guy. Thanks for sharing!
OMG those photos of your pup in the truck – so great!
Thank you!
Yes! I love this dog food too, it was difficult to find but I heard about it through word of mouth and my dog loves it as well.
Your dog looks really amazing. Keep it up. 🙂
This is SO adorable and it made my Monday! So thank you! It is such a battle trying to find the best food to feed your furry family and this sounds like an amazing choice. Thank you for sharing!
My dog has allergy and this food would definitely suit him. I will ask around, thanks!
I know how important good quality food is when raising a pet. I have a cat and I only feed him with premium food.
It’s like a full roast dinner for a dog.
I love these cute pics. Theo is getting into the autumn spirit, that’s for sure. And that dog food sounds great for so many different doggos. It’s cool to know they make a variety of pet chow so maybe I can snag some for my cat!
These photos are adorable! We also think it’s really important to give our cats good quality food. We are definitely willing to spend more to put good stuff into their bodies.
gotta make mans best friend happy.
I sent this to my sister… As she was asking about dog food options. This looks good. I love the photos.
What a great dog food for dogs! It looks really tasty and healthy!
This looks like it would be a great addition to our rotation for our 50/50 raw diet. I love the small bites, there are really so few options for dogs with tiny mouths!
This sounds like a quality food. It’s so good to know about the food your dog is getting isn’t it. Gorgeous gliding too by the way!
What a cutie! We just got a Boston Terrier, so I will definitely have to check this out because we want our puppy to have the best.
What you feed your dog is so important to their health and well being. We learned that first hand as our previous dog aged. Thank you for the dog food recommendation. I will look for it in the stores.
I don’t have pets but I assume it is important to feed them well.
He looks a real cute doggie model. Glad he loves this new food and treat.
Omg this is so interesting and informative. All dog parents should read this!
I love those photos!! I’ve been thinking of switching my dog’s food, so I’m going to look into this brand.
Supreme Source is our dogs favorite dog food. He has had fragile health and has pancreitus so a very sensitive stomach. It works very well for him.
Great review, excellent photographs! We will share this with our readers as well, as I think they would enjoy it. I have to say that Theo looks mighty happy in his Country-ish environment. And it’s very sweet that you don’t take Theo to the vet in the truck because that would make them super sad!
My vet specifically wants me to feed Louie kibble. I’ll have to ask her about this one. Certainly, the fact that it has taurine is a plus!
Your Chevy is absolutely adorable. Pictures are phenomenal also
Love the photos, he is just so handsome. I have never heard of that dog food which sounds really good and wishing all those that enter good luck.
Really Nice Post. I like your professional photos of your pup in the truck. They could be stock photos. This dog food sounds pretty promising. May have to check it out sometime. (from Ava Jaine, Dachshund Station)
It’s pretty great that the dog food industry is finally taking our pet’s health seriously and making them food with the best ingredients.
Theo looks as if that is HIS truck! It’s insane how these double as treats too though! Must be some really tasty dog treats.
Your dog is soo adorable, and these are cute shots,
I don’t have a dog, however that food looks good. That’s the cutest dog & I love the photo shoot in the truck, so adorable.
I ran out of dog food while on vacation, and bought some Supreme Source Dog Food, and my girls loved it.
I love the old truck! Your photos are fantastic. Supreme Source Dog food sounds wonderful, except that I am using a type of food recommended by my vet. But, I’ll try to remember this in the future.
The photos are so stunning; as always.
How nice kibble is so delicious that it can also be used as a treat!
Love the pickup truck…..I think he wanted to ride with his head out the window in that original doggone way! I do love the fact you mentioned in BOLD to never let your dog ride in the back of the pickup truck…….BUT alas I do! RELAX- I have a cap on the back of it so they can run in the back and I can open the windows and let them smell the what will be fresher air at the end of CO VID 19, LOL!
This sounds like a great product! It took us a long time to find something that Dav would readily eat that was safe for her multitude of allergies and passed my own safety inspection of the company and how it was made. She’s a bit of a picky eater, so taste was definitely a huge factor in deciding and we found that many ‘Dav-friendly foods’ fell short on the taste test. Indy, on the other hand, will eat anything and everything – which is good, because we just have to find something that works for her and he’s on board!
I think a more pure food is certainly better. I really like your stressing of not to let your dog to ride in the back of the truck. I find myself yelling in my car whenever I see a dog bouncing around loosely in the bed of a truck. Thanks for your post and especially that safety comment!
Oh, how I love these pickup photos! Theo is just a doll “behind the wheel!” Such wonderful keepsakes.
