Puppyhood is fleeting, so I’m always happy to see people get professional photos of their puppy. I love this session of Diana and her puppy Rowan from Morgan of Heck Designs & Photography in Nashville, Tennessee.
From Morgan: “Diana adopted Rowan in May after feeling the need for a pup. She had been eyeing a dog for a while but thought it maybe wasn’t the right time. On a drive back from Knoxville, Tennessee, Diana stopped into a pet store because they were having an adoption event. She intended on just looking. Well, she ended up taking Rowan home for a sleepover program (which was supposed to be seven days long), but after the first night, she knew she was going to keep him.”
From Diana: “I adopted Rowan after losing my grandmother and my dad earlier this year. Rowan has been the best thing to happen to me. He brings me so much joy, and he saved me, I was in a time where I was feeling lonely and really missing my loved ones who passed, and Rowan just makes everything better. 
When I am having a bad day or missing my dad, it is like Rowan knows, and he will come over and sit next to me and make sure I am okay.”

Rowan is such an adorable little guy! I’m telling you, I can’t prove it, but it seems like sometimes when someone passes, they send you someone else (in this case a dog) as a comforter. Some pets are just so caring and sensitive to you, that it has to be more than just coincedence. 🙂
