Although I’m staying home this summer, I’m also daydreaming of a vacation to the Outer Banks, NC. Gorky, the Corgi, and his humans, Moyin and Chunan, had a beautiful dog-friendly family portrait session there with Michelle & Sara Photography.
From Michelle and Sara: “Moyin and Chunan are just both incredibly sweet, personable, and have such a beautiful story. This relationship began a long time ago as their dads were college roommates, but they didn’t officially meet until 2014! After about a year apart, in 2015, they truly reconnected with one another at the OBX (Duck). 
This is where their families loved to go on vacation. Moyin and Chunan fell in love, got married, and moved to North Carolina after traveling all around! Now they want to renew their vows in front of their family and friends and to celebrate their love.
They brought their contagiously happy corgi pup, Gorky, and he loved every second of it. He is so well behaved, adorable, and LOVED being in front of the camera. He added such a unique and personal touch! As Moyin and Chunan changed outfits, so did Gorky’s tie change!
What we adored about this session was that they loved every single part of the island, so wherever the light was beautiful, we would go. And of course, the light was STUNNING everywhere! As we moved to the second location, Corolla Beach, the sunset gave us that perfect end of session light.”

This is the most delightful shoot I have seen in ages. It captures the joy of a couple and their pet and the light is totally spectacular making everything look perfect.
Absolutely love the photos and there are times I wish Layla would walk on the beach but she hates it LOL.
