Happy Monday! I am so excited to share The Pug Lola’s photos by Anouschka Rokebrand Photography. As far as I’m concerned, there’s nothing better than a dog enjoying time at the beach. Of course, I’ve loved Pugs too, so this session seems like the perfect Monday pick me up!
From Anouschka: “This darling little Pug called Lola is three years old and belongs to Wendy and Paul (whose wedding I documented a few years ago).
Lola is simply the sweetest and being the stylish girl that she is, she had her mom bring along multiple Puppia harnesses for various looks.
From Wendy and Paul: “Lola is a three-year-old pug from The Netherlands. She lives near The Hague, where the parliament and king are so that she can keep an eye on important pug stuff.
She is the best that ever happened to us and she is a very sweet and stubborn princess. It’s true what they say that pugs are clowns. Lola makes us smile every day.
But not only us, we see people on the street turning their heads to Lola when we walk by, and she puts a smile on their faces. She makes the world a better place for us and other just by being there.
Lola is always around us, her favorite places to be are in our way or in our laps. Like a typical pug, she constantly keeps an eye on us. Even when we’re not around, she’s with us with a tattoo of her paw on dad’s arm. When we come home, she always welcomes us with her favorite toy; a stuffy credit card. Just like a girl should. As soon as we sit down she jumps on our lap.
As a pug Lola loves to eat, especially bananas, that’s her favorite, and she does everything for it!
Every Saturday we try to go to the doggy playground Bello in Rotterdam. 
There she meets up with all of her pug friends to play and run through the playground. Not only has Lola given us her unconditional love and friendship but due to her, we have met some sweet pug owners with whom we do all sorts of great pug stuff like pug walks and pugBBQ’s.

My first dog growing up was a Pug (Pugsley!) – they’re the absolute BEST dogs.
How can anyone be sad when they have a pug as a pet?! They are the cutest. Lola is living life on the beach during this shoot.
