If you thought that having a dog would keep you from being able to see the world, you aren’t alone. However, more and more people are traveling with their pets, and some luxury resorts welcome them. Photographer Daniel Jireh got some great shots of Mimo, the poodle mix, and his humans at Las Ventanas al Paraiso and the beach.
From Daniel: “Wendy and Paolo are an amazing couple. I took their family photos at Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a luxury hotel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
We spend a couple of hours having fun on the property, and we went for a nice walk and run to the beach.”
From Wendy: “Mimo is fun and silly. He loves to play and cuddle equally. His signature move when he wants to play is a donkey kick.
Mimo’s favorite things to do are stealing socks, curling up on warm sheets/towels that just came out of the dryer, and roasting himself in front of the fireplace. He is a great travel companion. So far, he has traveled to Mexico, New York, and Seattle.”
Mimo has his own Instagram account.
In addition to the amenities you would expect for humans, Las Ventanas al Paraíso offers all kinds of perks for its canine guests. However, dogs must be under 40 pounds to stay at the resort.

What a delightful little travel companion…so well behaved.
I wish my dog was as well behaved as this one is. It looks like you guys got some gorgeous shots. I would love to take my dog on a vacation with us but she is nowhere near behaved enough to do it LOL.
What a beautiful family and the photos are gorgeous! My husband and I spent three weeks in Cabo San Lucas a few years ago and it was amazing.
I love to see people taking their dogs with them on vacation. I do worry about people putting them in the cargo hold of a plane. My girl is 80 pounds so I would never try to take her on a plane. She does travel well in the suv but has a bed in the back so it’s not a hardship. Little dogs are easier to travel with. Love the photos!!
These photos make me wish I was at the beach. I always love being by the water. These are such fun photos! I’ve never been to Mexico before.
Mino is such a cute little dog! I have always had a soft spot for poodle mixes.
Love all of the photos of this family. Mimo looks like such a happy fur baby.
What an adorably happy pooch! Looks like everyone had a great time though who wouldn’t in a tropical paradise like that?
Now that is one happy pooch! It looks like he is having such a magnificent time on the beach with his friends!
Mimi looks like Cabo San Lucas is the best time. I think these are beautiful family vacation images and a great idea. I never would have thought to bring along a pet on vacation.
Oh my goodness, I would so love to visit Cabo! We have a rescue dog, Dixie, who we just adore!
What a lovely couple and adorable pooch! The setting is wonderful for the family photo shoot!
All your photos are so cute and sweet. They always tell a story.
Mimi is so cute and these photos are precious! I love how she got to visit Cabo — it’s on my bucket list too!
I love the tones of these photos. So warm and dramatic. Great shots too, btw. Always love a great beach photo.
