Minneapolis pet photographer, Lauren Engfer took advantage of the natural beauty of a snowy day to capture these fun-filled photos of Pierre and Topher and their humans. Their joy is palpable. I’ve always said that one of the perks of winter is watching dogs play in the snow. Even if you are a person who dislikes the cold, I hope you’ll love these snowy pet portraits. 
From Lauren: “There is a saying: ‘Until one has loved an animal a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.― ‘ I love this quote. I believe this to be true. As a former professional animal trainer with a background in zoology, I absolutely love animals and know and understand the love people have for their four-legged companions.”
Both dogs are city dogs, enjoy walks and the dog park and live in downtown Minneapolis. Sarah works in marketing so they have both modeled for a few promotional shoots too. Very cosmopolitan pups. Tony also spends time volunteering at the Animal Humane Society– they do a lot of amazing work in the community! The day we shot these photos Topher and Pierre loved romping around through the fluffy snow!”

Pet photos seems to be the big thing especially since people aren’t have children as much any more. Pets seem to be the new child I have been told. Makes sense there would be more photos of them.

I absolutely love these pictures! The dogs are adorable, as is the couple, and you can tell they all had so much fun hanging out in the snow together. There’s a beautiful simplicity about snow that I just love. So nostalgic, so pure, so fun!
