I love to watch dogs playing at the beach. And since I don’t live near a beach, I am happy to see photos like these ones from Karen Ann Photography. Karen, her husband, and their dog, Layla the Black Lab, visited Folly Beach in South Carolina. It looks like they had a lot of fun!
From Karen: “My husband, Chris, and I went away for a long weekend in Charleston, South Carolina, for my birthday and to visit his parents who live there. No vacation there is complete without our seven-year-old BEAUTIFUL American Black Lab, Layla.
She loves her grandparents and their golden retriever, Shelby is her best friend. We wanted to take Layla to her favorite place as a treat though for being such a trooper with traveling. So we took her down to Folly Beach, and she had a BLAST! I mean, look at her little face!!!
Although Layla is seven, we get asked all the time if she is one to three years old. 
It makes me tear up because I realize how old she is and how much joy she has brought to not only my life but also to my husband’s.

What a nice looking dog. It photographs really well and these photos cane out great.
My daughter just adopted a dog earlier this month and I bet she would love to play in the water. I don’t live near the beach but she is planning on taking her to a dog event at the local waterpark. My dog would frown at playing in the water. He is a diva when it comes to getting his paws wet.
